Alhamdulillah, CrescentRating picked up The Halal Journal Award for "Travel & Hospitality 2010" at the 5th World Halal Forum Gala Dinner last night for its pioneering work in Halal Friendly Travel. The award was presented to Fazal Bahardeen, CEO of Crescentrating, by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. 

The World Halal Forum was attended by around 900 delegates and leaders in industries, government, research organizations, universities, and consumer associations. Halal Journal Awards is an annual award to celebrate and honor outstanding achievement and innovation in the Halal industry and is recognized as the most prestigious global award in the industry.

A pioneer in developing the Halal Friendly Travel and tourism sector, Crescentrating launched the Halal Friendly Rating for Travel and Tourism services & facilities in October 2009 along with its website crescentrating.com.
