Industry experts noted that Taiwan would make an excellent holiday destination for travellers from Oman, with only two days required to obtain a visa.

Tourism to Taiwan is on the rise, with the destination attracting approximately 1.3 million visitors from Hong Kong, 380,000 Singaporeans and 400,000 Malaysians to the island each year.
