Fazal Bahardeen

Fazal Bahardeen is an Entrepreneur in the Muslim Lifestyle & Travel Space. He founded CrescentRating in 2008, along with the world’s first rating system to rate travel & tourism services for their Muslim friendliness. Currently, he overlooks three leading brands in the Halal travel segment; CrescentRating, HalalTrip and Muslim Travel,Warehouse. Prior to this, he held senior management roles at Alcatel-Lucent, based in Europe & Asia.

Raudha Zaini

Raudha Zaini is the Marketing Manager of HalalTrip – a leading global community platform for Muslim travelers. She leads and manages projects with partners and International Tourism Boards in destination marketing and campaigns. Her aim is to translate her passion for travel as a millennial into innovative products that offer useful and unique experiences to all Muslim travelers.

Nur Hazirah Jamaludin

Nur Hazirah Jamaludin is the Content Manager of HalalTrip – a leading global community platform for Muslim travelers. She manages content across all platforms and is enthusiastic about making travel accessible for everyone. Her goal is to manage a platform that appeals and remains ever-relevant to Muslim millennials who desire to travel across the globe.

Ms. Barkathunnisha

Nisha is the founder and principal consultant of Elevated Consultancy and Training. She is a management consultant, tourism/hospitality practitioner, corporate trainer and academic with more than 25 years extensive experience. Nisha provides strategic management/ marketing consultation and involved in human capacity building in emerging destinations. Nisha has been a keynote speaker, panellist, presenter and guest lecturer at conferences, exhibitions and in academic institutions. She is currently pursuing her PhD in the area of tourism.

Aisha Islam

Aisha Islam is Vice President, Consumer Products, South East Asia, Mastercard. She manages Consumer Products for Malaysia and Indonesia. In this role, her focus is to create a sustainable competitive advantage for Mastercard consumer products, overseeing product strategy, management of consumer products in line with regional trends, product delivery, portfolio management and identifying business-building opportunities.

Q Akashah (Ms)

An award-winning brand and communications practitioner, Q works closely with companies; advising and working with International brands to effectively engage with Muslim consumers, as well as supporting efforts by halal businesses to make syariah-compliant products and services accessible and attractive to non-Muslim consumers. Her diverse client portfolio covers multiple industries including economics, banking and finance, and personal care, amongst others. In addition to her Islamic marketing portfolio, Q also specialises in public relations.

Nurul Ain

Nurul Ain leads business development at CrescentRating. She overlooks the company’s flagship Rating services and spearheads CrescentRating Academy - the world’s first global training platform for quality training and accreditation in the Muslim travel market. She was a part of the initial team that developed the Halal Tourism Executive Program targeted at top executives in the travel industry. As a Business and Marketing graduate from Nanyang Technological University, she strongly believes that travel is the best form of education and aspires to achieve this through the suite of programs she looks after.

Muhammad Azlan

Muhammad Azlan is a self-taught urban photographer based in Singapore. He spent 4 years in The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan pursuing his studies in Degree of Islamic Law & Jurisprudence and at the same time sharpens his photography skills. He shot in a number of different countries including Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria and Saudi Arabia. In 2016, he placed 3rd in the Canon Middle East Photography Competition in Jordan organized by The Royal Automobile Museum of Jordan. He was also a top 50 finalist of the RedBull Photography competition in Jordan in 2017.

Belkhir Housna (Hasna B)

Hasna B is a French Moroccan social media influencer and a mother of 3 children. After her Master’s in Education and Health, she moved to Jordan. She started to share her passion for fashion and beauty on her Youtube channel. After becoming a mum and moving to Singapore in 2015, she decided to focus more on lifestyle and travel content. With her posts and videos, she tries to inspire women and break stereotypes.

Said Komil Holhojayev

Said Komil Holhojayev is a Halal tourism specialist at the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development. As the Head of Islamic Tourism Division since 2018, he actively works on the development of Muslim-friendly services in Uzbekistan. From 2017 to 2018, he was Chief Specialist at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, where he was involved in the development of the concept of the promotion of Uzbekistan as a new Islamic tourism destination. Born in 1983, he obtained a BA in International Relations from Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies. He has twelve years of experience in the tourism industry such as hospitality and events management.

Siti Khatijah Aziz (Kat Aziz)

Kat Aziz is a modest fashion designer and founder of Women of Haya - a movement to encourage Muslim women to maintain their modesty while expressing their God-given Beauty. Her vision is to champion modesty onstage and backstage while raising standards and collaborations in the modest fashion industry. In her role as Creative Director of Women of Haya, she has helped to support and promote harmonious collaboration between modest fashion brands, tap on one another's expertise, resources and network to showcase their collections and increase their brand awareness locally and internationally. She also organises events  (eg. COSMOD), creates retail presence (WOH @ Brunei) and develop platforms (eg. Art Direction, Workshops, Exposure In International Modest Fashion Week) for modest fashion creatives to come together, connect with the movers and shakers of the modest fashion industry and take their businesses to the next level while championing modesty and ultimately grow into sustainable fashion business models.

Wan Murni Iskandar

Murni is currently an Assistant Producer and works on film projects in the filmmaking industry. She has produced for Chasing Paper (2018) and Adam (2019). A graduate from Nanyang Technological University School of Art, Design and Media, she is enthusiastic about anything visual. Under her own brand (Munn Iskandar), she freelances as a photographer specializing in couple portraits and wedding shoots.
