Sharjah aims to become a hub for Halal tourism

Sharjah is seeking to be a hub for Halal and family tourism and hopes to attract 10 million tourists by 2021. Industry experts note that 70% of all tourists to Sharjah are families, while 35% are from Gulf Cooperation Council states, Muslim countries.

Sharjah hopes to promote its world-class tourism facilities and Muslim-friendly services, while also offering special packages that are tailor-made for families.
