For those who want to get to know each other while exploring history & heritage, Istanbul, Paris and Fez offer three distinctly different experiences!
1. Istanbul

Turkey K3Istanbul is a city where you could take leisurely walks or sit around for hours in surroundings steeped with rich cultural heritage. There are multitudes of magnificent Museums and Mosques to keep you occupied with discovering Turkey’s Islamic heritage. Grand Bazaar is a good place to get to know each other’s shopping and bargaining Skills!

Istanbul at night is a visual treat! Take a walk around the Bosphorus bridge and enjoy the local food. Being a Muslim majority country all food is considered suitable for Muslims.

Whether you are on a cruise along the river, having a truly Turkish meal, haggling in the Grand bazaar or exploring the Mosques & Museums, this city would leave you with lots of fond memories to tell your grand kids, Insha Allah!

Finding Halal food is becoming easier in Paris now. Visit the grand Mosque of Paris and take a walk around the quarter.

3. Fez

From exploring the walled city of Medina or getting a unique shopping experience at the souk, you can while away your time leisurely.

The beaches are some of the best in the region, with hues of green and blue seas. The island has some amazing resorts where you can really be pampered.

Krabi has a large population of Muslims and as such, Halal food is easily available. Pay a visit to the local Masjid as well.

A great destination, if you wish to discover each other while gazing at the breathtaking sea views.

5. Mauritius

It is a beautiful Island of blue lagoons, white unspoiled sands, coral islets and multi - cultural atmosphere that will leave you lost in this far away island. It also has many Spas to get you pampered and refreshed.

Finding Halal food at the resorts may not be straightforward. You might have to make prior arrangements with the hotel or stay vegetarian! Halal food is available in localities where there are Muslim communities. Take a bit of time out and visit those areas to get a taste of local Muslim food.

6. Maldives

The Island in this Indian ocean of turquoise beach, white sands and scenery of the sun sinking beyond the horizons could not make a better backdrop to let you get to know each other. If you want to be adventurous on your first trip together, then you could try some of the water sports!

Although Maldives is a Muslim majority country, it is advisable that you make sure the food at the resort is not prepared along with non-halal food. Take some time to visit the beautiful Masjid in Male known as the Islamic Centre or Masjid-al-Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu Al Auzam.

 8. Fiji

Be it a stroll down the Jumeirah beach together, or endless shopping for a new makeover, it is definite to give you an experience to understand each other better.
