Crescentrating announces its Top 10 Halal-Friendly Shopping Destinations for 2012. The rankings are based on surveys and traveler feedback. These ten destinations provide not just a great shopping experience but also cater well to the needs of Muslim shoppers with Halal food availability and, in most cases, easy access to prayer rooms in the main shopping districts/malls.

Crescentrating's Top 10 Halal Friendly Shopping Destinations for 2012 are Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Istanbul, Singapore, Bangkok, Delhi, Johannesburg, Bali, London and Hong Kong! From the month-long Dubai Shopping Festival to the covered market in Istanbul that spreads over 60 streets, these destinations provide a variety of experiences for shoppers.

Crescentrating's Halal Friendly Travel Ranking (CRaHFT Ranking) was first launched in 2011 with its Top 10 Halal Friendly Holiday Destinations for 2011. Now in its 2nd year, the 2012 Ranking is expanded to cover more categories.

"A good part of the expenditure is spent on shopping by this segment of travelers. This is why we included this category in our ranking this year. With more and more destinations catering to the needs of this segment of travelers, now they have a wide range of destinations to choose from," said Azhar Preena, the Business Development Manager at Crescentrating. "We will be announcing the CRaHFT Ranking for 2012 on a few more categories in the coming days," he added.
