Bursa is located in the north-western part of Turkey and was the initial capital of the Ottoman Empire. The city has a number of masaajid many of them built as early as the 13th and 14th century.

One of the oldest cities in the area and also the birth place of the well-known philosopher Diogenes, the city of Sinop, finds a wonderful location and has been a port for several civilizations. The city was founded in the 7th century by the Greek and the city became a fine port because of its favourable natural harbour on the Black Sea. 

Istanbul is the largest and the most populous city of Turkey. It also serves as the financial and cultural centre. It is located on both the sides of Bosphorus between the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea. The city has several historic monuments originally from Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires
