Located in the Budapest Metropolitan area is the town of Biatorbágy. The town is situated in the northern part of the Pest County. The town though small offers a good range of fun activities that visitors can enjoy. The area of Biatorbágy has been inhabited since the Bronze Age.
The Fertő-Hanság National Park in North-West Hungary is a land of legends. Sprawling around the Lake Fertő, this national park covers an area of 235.88 square kilometres. The Lake Fertő is among the largest lakes in Central Europe and the surroundings of the lake is home to several species of birds such as Great Egret, Common Spoonbill, Purple Heron and the Greylag Goose.
One of the most prominent landmarks of Budapest, the Chain Bridge is a fabulous suspension bridge that was built across the Danube River to connect the two areas Buda and Pest. The bridge was constructed in the 19th century and was the first permanent bridge to be built in the city. The bridge is 75 meters long and about 16 meters wide. There are two stone lion statues that guard both the bridgeheads.
The largest freshwater lake in Europe, Lake Balaton, Hungary is a favourite travel destination in the country. Irrespective of your age, you can enjoy a wide range of activities around the Lake Balaton. Located in the Transdanubian region of Hungary, most of the water of the lake comes from the River Zala.
Located in the Eastern Hungary is a national park of cultural history and legends, the Hortobagy National Park. The park covers an area of 800 square kilometres and was established as a national park in 1973. The park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site as declared in 1999. The Hortobagy National Park is an area of distinctions, on one side where you can observe the wilderness; on the other you can observe the man-made tamed countryside.

An exciting mountainous region in northern Georgia, Svaneti is a wonderful destination to visit and have fun. Svaneti is characterized by rocky peaks, deep gorges, snow and towers. The region is a World Heritage Site and serves as home to the Svans. Svaneti is located on the southern slopes of the central Greater Caucasus and also extends to the upper valleys of Rioni, Enguri and Tskhenistskali. The region is divided into Lower Svaneti and the Upper Svaneti. The best time to visit the area is between May and October.
Built across the Mtkvari River in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia is the Bridge of Peace. The bridge is built in a bow shape and is a pedestrian bridge that serves as a connection between the Old City and the new part of the city. Traversing a distance of 150 metres, the bridge was inaugurated in May 2010.
Apart from the Abuko Nature Reserve, Gambia has some wonderful nature reserves and wetlands that you would love to visit for its sheer beauty and richness in different varieties of wildlife. The Tanbi Wetlands, Tanji Reserve and the Bao Bolong Wetalnd Reserve are just a few to mention.
