Located in south west Poland is the city of Opole, the capital of Opolskie. The city is most popular for its song festival, which is held every year in June. Poznan is one of the main cultural and literary centres of Poland. The beautiful historic core of the city features Gothic, Renaissance and neo-Classical architecture. The city was the first capital of Poland and even today appeals to visitors.

Rated as the busiest city of Nigeria, Lagos spreads over a group of islands on a lagoon including the mainland. Lagos was the former capital of Nigeria and has a long history. The city was a Yoruba Town and gradually grew into a port and a trade centre.

Located in the Muscat province of Oman is the city of Muttrah. The city was the commercial centre of Oman for a very long time and still serves as an important sea port of the region and is also among the largest ports. Much of the historic places in the city are well-preserved.
