Finding Masaajid in Baltistan is pretty easy. All the towns and cities in the region have Masaajid. The main city of the region Skardu has the Amburiq Masjid. Khaplu has a number of historic Masaajid that you can visit while in Baltistan.

There are numerous glacial lakes in the region of Baltistan. The region of Baltistan is divided into five valleys namely Shigar, Khaplu, Rondu, Skardu and Kharmang. All the valleys are rich in the production of fruits. The historic settlements, palaces, forts and valleys are lovely for anyone to explore. The cities in Baltistan have some good shopping centers and markets where you can enjoy shopping. The New Bazaar in Skardu is particularly good for shopping.

Finding halal food around the Baltistan region is quite easy. Whether you are looking for traditional food or any type of cuisine, there are numerous restaurants in the region where you can find Chinese, continental and other types of cuisines.

The towns in Baltistan are good to walk around. Visitors can however also take a car rental and explore the entire area. Getting taxis is also pretty easy in all the main cities of Baltistan.
