GEOGRAPHY

Norway is situated in Northern Europe. It shares a land border with Sweden, Finland and with Russia at the east. Norway is one of the longest and most rugged coastlines in the world and one of Europe's most mountainous countries.

A population of close to 4.9 Million. Muslims account for about 1.5% of the population.

CLIMATE

Summers are warm and sunny while winters are cold with snowfall in the lowlands. The southern and western parts of the country have milder winters. The daylight hours in Norwat are very short.

Norwegian (Bokmål and Nynorsk) is the official language. Sami languages are widely used as well.
