Located in southeastern Asia bordering the Indian Ocean shipping lines Myanmar owns a coastline of 1,930 km's. The country has a land area of 678,500 km².


A population of close to 50 Million. Muslims account for about 3.8% of the population.


Tropical monsoon climate can be experienced in the low lands of Myanmar. Rain is a frequent factor with the effect of southwest monsoons from June to September and northeast monsoons from December to April. The average temperature varies from 20°C to 30°C based on the time of the year.


Burmese is the official language.
