About The State Historical Museum Moscow, Russia

About Ha Long Bay National Park

The Ha Long Bay National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Gulf of Tonkin in the Quang Ninh Province. Also known as Halong Bay which means bay of descending dragons. The area includes several thousand of uninhabited islands. The Halong Bay is bounded by the Cat Ba Island in the southwest, the East Sea in the east, and the mainland. The bay creates a coastline that is about 120 km long.

Things to do at Halong Bay

The Bai Chay Beach is a wonderful beach with dark coloured sand. It is easy to get a boat from the Bai Chay Beach and you can set out to explore the bay area. The limestone formations in the bay area are unique and fascinating. These limestone formations include Thien Chung about 4Km from the wharf of Ha Long City; the Dau Go about 8Km from Bai Chay and the Trinh Nu about 15Km from Bai Chay.

The most popular island of Ha Long Bay is the Cat Ba. The island is known for its beaches and national parks. The island also has a unique and impressive cave system. Visitors can enjoy swimming, diving and other fun filled activities around the area. The best time to visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site is between March and June.

The distance between Hanoi to Halong Bay is 170 kms. There are various modes of transportation from Hanoi to Halong Bay and vice versa. There are buses, shuttle buses, trains or you could rent a car. About Taganay National Park – Russia

Established in 1991, the Taganay National Park is located in Chelyabinsk and is visited by several travellers every year. The park houses several species of plants and animals and is the most attractive park in the Chelyabinsk region. The park is located close to the Zlatoust city. The park is one of the places and attractions tourists should not miss.

Things to do/ Attractions of Taganay National Park

The park is located on the eastern slopes of the Urals Mountains and offers several opportunities of hiking and climbing the mountain ridges. The mountain system is made up of three mountain ridges, the Taganay, Itsyl and Jurma. The Taganay has four prominent peaks the Double-headed Hill, Mount Kruglitsa, Crest Otkliknoy and Far Taganay. At the base of the mountains are thick forests. The park is home to brown bears, mooses, wild boars, lynxes, wolves, etc. The park has a number of old mines that you can see while visiting the park.

Just a short distance from central Moscow is the Tsaritsnyo Reserve and Museum.
