The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta

Over 150 hot air balloons, 250 trade stands and caterers, and 500,000 visitors, the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is a spectacular event for the entire family.

The 33rd annual Bristol International Balloon Fiesta will be held on Ashton Court in Bristol City, England from August 11th 2011 to August 14th 2011. The city has over 40 years of balloon-making history and local and international applicants will combine to create a show of a lifetime. The world-famous Red Arrows will put on a display while various mass balloon ascents, nightglow celebrations and fireworks have been scheduled.

The Fiesta can be accessed by private vehicle or various modes of public transportation including train, bus or taxi. One of U.K.'s top 5 outdoor events, and Europe's largest annual hot air balloon event, the Balloon Fiesta is 4 days of good, clean family fun that is absolutely free to attend.
