GEOGRAPHY

Mexico is situated in the southern portion of North America also known as Middle America. Mexico's total area is 1,972,550 km² and includes approximately 6,000 km² of islands in the Pacific Ocean.

DEMOGRAPHY

A population of close to 112 Million. Muslims account for about 0.3% of the population.

CLIMATE

Temperate and tropical. In the low-altitude areas the temperature will range from 24 °C to nearly 28 °C. The temperature in the high-altitude areas averages from 16 °C to 18 °C through out the year.

LANGUAGES SPOKEN

Spanish is the official language. Nahuatl, Yukatek Maya and Englsih are widely used as well.
