Located in Peru is the magnificent Huayhuash Range. The range is home to the second highest peak of Peru, the Yerupaja. All around the year, the range is covered with thick glaciers. There are a number of visitors who trek around the mountains of the Huayhuash. Trekking this mountain circuit is one of the most wonderful treks in the world.
One of the oldest parks in Caracas, the Parque Los Caobos Venezuela features soaring mahogany trees. Located in the city centre, the park has a number of trees and lots of shaded areas. Locals come here to walk and exercise. Even during Midday people come to the park as the circuit in the periphery is quite shaded.
The jungle locked city of Peru, Iquitos is located about 2000 miles up the river of Amazon. Considered as the sixth largest city of Peru, Iquitos is the only city in the world that cannot be accessed by road. The city is quite hot and humid all around the year.

The trail leading up the Mount Roraima can be reached from San Francisco de Yuruani, which can be reached easily from Caracas by bus. The trail of Mount Roraima started from Paratepuiabout 22Km away from San Francisco de Yurani. The most popular route to hike the Mount Roraima is the Paratepui Route. The route crosses the Gran Sabana and there are several river crossings that are supposed to be crossed on foot as no brides are available.
The base of Mount Roraima is reached in about 1-1 ½ days and the route further and back to the peak of the mountain takes about 4 days. The routes from the Brazilian and Guiana sides are usually not preferred as they are quite dangerous. It is better to take a guide along if you wish to camp at the mountain top.
The best time to climb the Mount Roraima is the dry season from December to March. At this time the river crossings are doable as compared to the other seasons when the rivers are quite rough. There are a few camping sites along the route and camping is available on the mountain top, however the climatic conditions can be quite wet even during the dry season. It is recommended that you take a waterproof tent and a rain suit.
There are no halal facilities along the route or around the towns surrounding the peak. The closest Halal facility can be found in Caracas.
On the island of Margarita in Venezuela is the small city of Juan Griego. Juan Griego is also the most northern port of Venezuela. The city is known for its wonderful beach and lots of sunshine. Juan Griego is a good place to relax and spend some wonderful time.
