Medan is the capital of North Sumatra and the fourth largest city of Indonesia. North Sumatra is known for its natural beauty with lots of rainforests, exotic beaches and volcanic lakes.
The main Masjid in Medan is the Masjid Raya or the Great Masjid. The Jummah Salaath is conducted around 12:30PM and the sermon is delivered in Bahasa Indonesia. Prayer facilities are available for females. The Masjid features Moroccan architecture.
