Cologne has a good population of Muslims, as many as 120,000 that make up almost 12% of the population of the city

The district of Ehrenfeld is where the Central Masjid of Cologne is being built. The neighbourhood of Bickendorf in Ehrenfeld has a large population of Muslims. The area of Nordstadt also has a good population of Muslims.

The largest Masjid of Cologne is under construction, the Central Masjid is proposed to accommodate almost 2000 to 4000 worshippers. Some of the other prominent Masaajid in Cologne include:
