Introduction to Vanuatu

The glittering duty free shops, gourmet restaurants and inviting resorts in Vanuatu are a major draw to visitors from all over the world.Some of the most visited islands in Vanuatu are Efate, Espiritu Santo, and Tanna. The capital city of Port Vila has some of the main sights and Luganville is also a good place to visit. Port Vila is home to the Vanuatu Museum & Cultural Centrer, which has several interesting artifacts. About 10 minutes from Port Vila is the Ekasup Cultural Village, which is a typical example of a traditional village. The Mele Village, about 10 minutes from Port Vila, is also a wonderful place to visit. See the Secret Gardens and the cascading waterfalls which are within easy reach of the village.
