GEOGRAPHY
With a land area of 603,628 sq km's Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe. It has a coastline closer to 2,782 km's and boarders the black sea as well. Ukraine shares territory boundaries with Belarus, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia and Slovakia.
DEMOGRAPHY
A population of close to 46 Million. Muslims account for about 1% of the population
CLIMATE
The lowest temperature of Ukraine can drop closer to - 7C or -8C during the months of January and February the highest is reached during the month of July where the temperature will reach 17C to 19C.
LANGUAGES SPOKEN
Ukranian is the official Language. Russian is also widely used.

Introduction to Ukrain
From Sinope, Ibn Battuta boarded a ship heading towards Ukraine and landed at the coast of Crimea, an autonomous district of Ukraine. Crimea is located on the northern coast of Black Sea. Ibn Battuta travelled for quite some time in Ukraine, visiting the cities of Kaffa (Feodosiya), Al-Qiram, Qipchak, Sudak, Azak (Azov) and Tuluktemur.
