Adam Food centre, a must try in Singapore

Written by  Crescentrating

Newton food court probably is the most popular and the one better known by the visitors to Singapore. However, when it comes to the number of Muslim outlets, Adam Food Centre is definitely a place to try. It is one of few food courts in Singapore with a majority Muslim food outlets. At the last count, 18 of the 31 or so stalls were Muslim outlets. They offer wide variety of food and definitely most of the Singapore's local favourites.

Here you can find Nasi Lemak, Lamb Soup, Nasi Goreng, Roti Prata, Biryani, etc. You will also not be disappointed by the quality of the food there. Its Nasi Lemak stall is supposed to be one of the best in Singapore and apparently the Sultan of Brunei gets Nasi Lemak from here when he is Singapore!
The rendang and sambal goring from the "Nasi Singapura House of Lontong" outlet is great too.

There is limited parking available outside the Adam Road Food Court and at lunch time it could get full. It is not one of those new aircondinitioned Food courts. So you need to be prepared to enjoy the real food court atmosphere without aircons!

Give it a try when you visit Singapore next time. It is at the junction of Bukit Timah Road and Adam Road.
