Most of the popular international restaurant/fast food brands are Halal Certified in Singapore. The sole authority in Singapore which provides Halal certification is MUIS. Many of the International chains such as McDonalds, Pizza Hut etc are halal. Unlike in some countries, generally in Singapore if a restaurant is halal certified, then all of the outlets in Singapore of that restaurant chain will be halal certified as well. There are two types of restaurants in Singapore Hotels serving Halal Food; Hotels which have a Halal certified restaurant and the Hotels where the restaurant serves food from a halal certified kitchen.
In Singapore, Malaysia and few other countries, some eateries put up signs which says "No Pork, No Lard". The intent seems to be to attract Muslim customers assuring them that No Pork or and No Lard is used in food items of the establishment. These establishments probably assume that "No Pork and No Lard" will be good enough for Muslims to consume the food.
Adam Food is one of few Food courts in Singapore with a majority of the outlets being Muslim food outlets. At the last count, 18 of the 31 or so stalls are Muslim outlets. They offer wide variety of Food and definitely all of the Singapore's local favorites. Here you can find Nasi Lemak, Lamb Soup, Biryani, etc. You will also not be disappointed by the quality of the fare.
