The Ambassador Hotel in Thailand has been awarded a Crescentrating of 4 based on the Halal-friendly services and facilities they offer to guests. This is the first Hotel in Bangkok to be awarded a Crescentrating.

More flights from Qatar Airways to Thailand
Qatar Airways introduces major increase in flights to Thailand (Bangkok and Phuket). Also improving services to Vietnam.
Beginning October 12, Qatar Airways introduces six-flights-a-week to Phuket via Kuala Lumpur. With the Bangkok flights, the airline's Thai operations will step up from 21 to 27 flights a week across two destinations.
Sharjah promotes Sharjah Water Festival and Sharjah Lights Festival
The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) is on a raod show to the GCC countries to promote the the Sharjah Water Festival and the Sharjah Lights Festival, which will be hosted in the emirate during the last quarter of 2010 and the first quarter of 2011, respectively.
Sharjah Water Festival will be held from 2nd to 11th December 2010 and the Sharjah Lights Festival is to be held from the 10th to the 18th February
Gulf Air begins services to Colombo
Gulf Air, is recomencing its service to Colombo, Sri Lanka with five flights a week departing at convenient timings.

Q. Darren can you tell us little bit about the family friendly facilities of your Hotel first ?
Our three- and four-bedroom villas (457 and 604 square metres) have private swimming pools, living rooms, dining rooms and kitchen. There is also a kids' club and nanny service. Nannies can look after the children all day (up to eight hours) - four days, only US$121 per child - and teach the children Thai culture, games and activities.
Within the large communal areas of Outrigger Laguna Phuket Resort and Villas there are slides and climbing equipment, barbecue zones and plenty of space to jog, play football and ride bicycles.
Travel warnings for visitors to Thailand
Thai Government declared a state of emergency on the 7th of April in the Bangkok and surrounding areas. With the situation in Thailand not getting any better, more than 40 countries have issued travel warnings for its citizens.
