The masjid can accommodate over 5,000 worshippers inclusive of 2,000 in the courtyard. The masjid is constructed from granite, concrete, alucobond measure and glass and the dome is covered with gold. Above the main prayer hall is a prayer hall exclusively for women. The dome of the masjid is supported by eight pillars that are beautifully decorated and have inscriptions from the Holy Quran.
