GEOGRAPHY
Ethiopia is a landlocked country situated in the Horn of Africa. It shares borders with Somalia, Eritrea,Kenya and Sudan. Ethiopia has a total land area of 1,100,000 km2.
DEMOGRAPHY
A population of close to 82 Million. Muslims account for about 40% of the population.
CLIMATE
Most of the country have a climate which is generally cool. The daily maximum temperatures ranges between 20 °C and 25 °C throughout the year. From June to September is a rainy season.
LANGUAGES SPOKEN
Amharic is the official language. English is widely used as well.

Al-Anwar Masjid in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia
The largest and the oldest masjid in Addis Ababa, the Al-Anwar Masjid stands in the heart of the open air market of Merkato and was built in 1922. Merkata is believed to be the biggest open air market in Africa. The masjid has a nice architecture with white and green colours.
