Housed in a wonderful villa, the Museum of Islamic Ceramics is a small but beautiful museum. The museum has a beautiful collection of ceramic pots, plates, and bowls from the 9th to the 18th centuries.The museum is worth a visit for its collection as well as the building, which was a palace of Prince Amr Ibrahim.

Museum of Islamic Arts, Cairo

Housing Islamic artwork from all around the Islamic world, the Museum of Islamic Arts is one of the finest museums in Cairo. The museum has over 100,000 objects and is also associated with the excavation going on in the Fustat Area. The museum was closed for renovation of the building and exhibits and was re-opened for public in September 2010.
