Considered as one of the largest national parks in the Amazon Basin The Noel Kempff Mercado National Park is named after a well-known Bolivian biologist. Located about 600km from the city of Santa Cruz, the park borders Brazil and is one of the most beautiful and must-visit places for travelers visiting Bolivia. The park offers different habitats that are usually not found in other parts of the world.
The earth's incessant mirror to the sky, Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is the largest salt flat in the world   Apart from inquisitive visitors, the area is also thronged by photographers who flock to the area to seize the beautiful scene in their cameras. Salar de Uyuni is not only the largest salt flat of the world, but is also the largest lithium reserve in the world.
The Casa de la Libertad or the Liberty House in Sucre is where the Bolivian independence was declared. Designated as a national memorial, the museum is the symbolic heart of the nation and a true representation of the Bolivian history. It was at this place where the declaration of independence was signed in 1825. The house was built in the 17th century as a Jesuit University and today houses some of the most fascinating artefacts from the Bolivian history.
Counted among the highest situated navigable lakes in the world Lake Titicaca is situated on the Collao plateau at about 3812m above sea level. Around Lake Titicaca visitors can find several archaeological remains, numerous islands and exclusive works of nature. Situated at the border of Bolivia and Peru, Lake Titicaca is about 100 km from the city of La Paz. Around its shore on the Bolivian side are the towns of Copacabana and Huatajata.
