The Casa de la Libertad or the Liberty House in Sucre is where the Bolivian independence was declared. Designated as a national memorial, the museum is the symbolic heart of the nation and a true representation of the Bolivian history. It was at this place where the declaration of independence was signed in 1825. The house was built in the 17th century as a Jesuit University and today houses some of the most fascinating artefacts from the Bolivian history.
