Review of the Halal Food scene in New Delhi

Delhi is the ninth highest populated city in the world and the second metropolis of India with more than 12.25 million inhabitants. It is estimated that around 13 percent are Muslims. Besides the local population, foreign and domestic Muslim tourists generally encounter difficulties and confusion regarding the authenticity of Halal Food here; due to insufficient information about the restaurants and their location. Here is a brief review of the more prominent Halal outlets like Fast Trax, Karims, Al Baik and Tunde Kabab.

Newton food court probably is the most popular and the one better known by the visitors to Singapore. However, when it comes to the number of Muslim outlets, Adam Food Centre is definitely a place to try. It is one of few food courts in Singapore with a majority Muslim food outlets. At the last count, 18 of the 31 or so stalls were Muslim outlets. They offer wide variety of food and definitely most of the Singapore's local favourites.
