A beautiful town located on the southern coast of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, Dahab is one of the most cherished diving destinations of Sinai. The town is about 85km from Sharm el-Sheikh and is located on the Gulf of Aqaba.

The Al Rahman Masjid is the main Masjid in Dahab. The Jummah Salaath takes place around 12PM the sermon is delivered in Arabic. Travelers can find a few Halal restaurants in Dahab.

Dahab is mainly popular for windsurfing and diving. Assalah, a Bedouin area in Dahab is one of the most developed in the city. It is about 4 km from downtown and has historical significance. There are several restaurants and shops along the shores of Ghazala Bay where travelers can relax.

The Three Pools is a lovely Bedouin oasis popularly called as Wadi Gnay and is excellent for snorkeling, diving or just unwinding. Other sites for diving include Abu Helal, The Bells, Blue Hole, Canyon, Eel Garden, Coral Garden, Lighthouse, Moray Garden, Gabr El Bint, Islands, Ras Abu Gallum.

Travelers can also enjoy climbing in Dahab. The Wadi Gnay has several bolted routes where visitors can enjoy a number of sports activities. Also enjoy different desert safaris and horse and camel rides when in Dahab.

The Lagoona is a long stretch of sandy beach where visitors can relax and enjoy wind surfing and kite flying. The Old Port Dahab is famous for its history and visitors can see the ruins of the old Nabatean Port along the coast of Mashraba.

Travelers can buy rugs, oriental lamps, embroidered shirts, silver jewelry and several other items in Dahab. There are some beautiful Bedouin Handicrafts too available in the city. Shop at Ghazala Market and Sheikh Salem House. There are several other shops along the beach promenade.
