The Mogilev Museum of Local History Culture and Lore was established in 1951. Located in a three-storey building, the museum contains 300,000 exhibits. These exhibits cover archaeological findings, coins and jewellery, paintings, icons, ethnographic collections, military relics and documents. All these exhibits represent the cultural, political and social history of the Mogilev region.

The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00 AM to 06.00 PM. It remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Visitors who are looking to visit all the three departments of the museum are required to pay the price of triple the ticket price. There are no Masaajid or halal restaurants in the surrounding of the museum.
