The capital city of Nova Scotia, Halifax has quite a number of Masaajid. The Nova Scotia Islamic Community Center is the primary Masjid of the city. Other Masaajid include the Ummah Masjid and the Alrasoul Islamic Society in Halifax; the Dartmouth Masjid in Dartmouth, the Truro Masjid in Truro and the Cape Breton Muslim Society in Sydney.

Nova Scotia offers a range of adventure activities. From scenic drives through the shore areas to enjoying water sports at the beaches and golf, you can enjoy a variety of things while in the province. The cities and towns of Nova Scotia are perfect to relax and unwind. The capital Halifax has a lot to offer to its visitors. This beautiful cosmopolitan port is packed with exciting places to visit and interesting things to do.

Nova Scotia also presents an array of trails for hiking, cycling and several opportunities of sailing. The glacial boulders of the Peggy's Cove and the Cabot Trail are good places to visit. Have fun at the warm sands of the Northumberland Strait and explore the Lighthouse Route. The Tobeatic Wilderness is excellent to enjoy outdoor adventure. Do not miss the Brier Island that juts out into the Bay of Fundy.

Nova Scotia offers wonderful culture and heritage that you can enjoy during your stay. Art and music lovers too have a lot to see and appreciate in the theatres, art galleries and museums of Nova Scotia. All this and lots more makes Nova Scotia one of the best vacation destinations.

When it comes to shopping, Nova Scotia offers you the best of both worlds. Halifax serves as the largest shopping destination in the Atlantic area. In Halifax the best places to shop include Spring Garden Road, Hydrostone Market, Bayers Lake shopping district and the Halifax Shopping Center. Finding halal food in Nova Scotia is easy in Halifax. The Turkish dish Doner and spiced beef dishes are quite famous across the province. Usually the halal restaurants carry a certification. You can get more information about halal restaurants from the Masaajid in the cities.

Getting around Nova Scotia is pretty easy if you have a car. There are some scenic roads where you can enjoy beautiful scenes while driving around. However, if you are visiting Nova Scotia during the winters you should be careful because of the weather conditions.
