Situated in East Asia, South Korea is in the southern portion of the Korean Peninsula. Including all its Islands the county's total area is 100,032 square kilometres (38,622.57 sq mi).

CLIMATE

It is hot and humid in Summer with a temprerature range of 22 °C to 30 °C (71 °F to 86 °F) in most parts of the country. Winters can be extremely cold with the minimum temperature dropping below −20 °C in the inland region of the country.
