It is a country situated in Central America. Honduras borders the Caribbean Sea and the North Pacific Ocean. Nicaragua lies to the south east, Guatemala to the west and El Salvador to the south west. Honduras has a total area of 110,000 km2.

A population of close to 8.2 Million. Muslims account for about 0.1% of the population.

The climate of Honduras varies depending on the regions. It is genarally tropical in the lowlands and temperate in the mountains.The central and southern regions are relatively hotter.
