Masjid al-Khulafa' ar-Rashidun in Asmara, the capital of Eritrea The Masjid al-Khulafa' ar-Rashidun was built in 1938 and stands on the Peace Street in the capital city of Asmara. Built out of Dekemhare travertine and Carrara marble transported from an Italian quarry. The masjid features two small domes, a large dome and a minaret.
